When we think of October we remember fun events happening all month long. Here’s whats happening this 3rd of October.
Scarecrow Harvest
Fall and Halloween is near and to start it off Alpharetta’s downtown streets will be lined with over 100 scarecrows to celebrate it. Don’t miss the moment and join this free family entertainment. This will include groovy country music, hay rides to the log cabin, quirky face painting, historical demos, artsy activities, stimulating story-telling, yummy festival food, engaging inflatables and lots more.
This fun filled event will start from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m at Milton Avenue. There’s a hay ride that will take you to the Future Farmers of America log cabin all throughout the event. to . At 12pm, SCARECROW AWARDS and prizes will be given to Accredited K-5 Schools classrooms for Most Creative, Best Constructed, Best Personality, “Go Green” Crow and SchCOOLEST (school with the most participating classrooms) Scarecrows.
Alpharetta Brew Moon Octoberfest
Octoberfest is here again! Gather your friends and celebrate fall with beer, wine and delicious food from some of Alpharetta’s best restaurants.
This event will be held at Milton Avenue from 6:30 – 11 p.m . Rain or shine this is going to be pushing through. Live music will be provided by Electric Avenue Band and Yacht Rock Schooner.
