1. Atlanta Nativity Festival.

A two-day event featuring live Christmas music, an exhibit of nativity sets from around the world, a display of children’s nativity art, hands-on crafts for kids, and a live nativity.

2. Clairmont Hills Baptist Church.

A free “drive-thru” living nativity open for public viewing for the entire family. Clairmont Hills are still looking for participants, as well. Three days only.

3. Mountain View United Methodist Church.

Walk through the streets of Bethlehem and haggle with the shopkeepers, sign the census and pay your taxes to Caesar Augustus’s tax collector. The end of your journey depicts the live nativity scene. Two weekends in December.

4. Sardis Church.

See a live nativity, with live animals, refreshments, and carolers at this church on Powers Ferry. Two nights only.

5. Starry Night Tours.

Walk through the zoo under the stars, then take a hayride past the camels to the live nativity. Finish up at the bonfire, with marshmallows and hot cocoa.

6. Old Fashioned Christmas.

Enjoy the lighting of downtown Dahlonega, with visits from Santa, luminaries, Christmas movies in the park, and an evening live nativity with animals. Activities extend for a month, but the live nativity is one weekend only.

7. Walk Through Bethlehem at St John’s UMC.

At St. John, visitors can see a live nativity, pet a real camel, enjoy hot cider, cookies, and children’s crafts. One weekend only.

8. Walk Through Bethlehem at Simpsonwood UMC.

Hundreds of candles light the path. Roman guards, shopkeepers and merchants in costume will be in the streets. See live farm animals and a camel during your visit. You will also see shepherds, angels and Wise Men, as well as the live nativity.

9. Live Nativity & Holiday Celebration.

FREE Nativity with Live animals, marshmallow roast, hay rides, caroling and more! Nativity open to public from 5-7 pm. Try the Starry Night Guided Zoo Tour, also.
